Integrated Nano

Integrated Nano (IN) is an international peer-reviewed and open-access journal. It is a multidisciplinary journal that reports the integration of nanoscience/ nanoengineering with other fields such as internet of things (IoT), wireless sensor network (WSN), cyber security, agriculture, biomedicine,…etc.

Integrated Nano (IN) refers to the use of nanoscale materials, devices, and systems in a wide range of applications across different fields such as healthcare, electronics, energy, and materials science. It involves the integration of nanoscience, and engineering, to create new functionalities and solutions. Nanoengineering is a multidisciplinary field, which depends on principles from different fields, such as electrical, mechanical, and chemical engineering, to design and develop nanoscale devices and systems. The integration of nanoscience and nanoengineering is crucial for the advancement of integrated nano. By combining the fundamental knowledge of nanoscience with the practical design and fabrication skills of nanoengineering, researchers can create new materials, devices, and systems that have novel functionalities and capabilities for a wide range of applications such as communications, biomedicine, agriculture,…etc. The scope of INJ could cover a wide range of topics related to the use of nanoscale materials, devices, and systems in various fields. Some possible areas of focus could include:

1. Nanomaterials: This could include research on the synthesis of various types of nanomaterials such as nanoparticles, nanotubes, and nanowires, as well as their characterization using various analytical techniques such as electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and spectroscopy. Applications of nanomaterials could range from biomedical implants and drug delivery systems to energy conversion and storage devices.

 2. Nanoelectronics: This could cover research on the design, fabrication, and characterization of nanoscale electronic devices such as transistors, diodes, and sensors. It could also include studies on the use of new materials such as graphene and carbon nanotubes in electronic devices, as well as advances in circuit design and integration. 

3. Nanophotonics: This could cover research on the interaction between light and matter at the nanoscale, with applications in fields such as optical communication, sensing, and imaging. It could include studies on the use of plasmonic structures and metamaterials for light manipulation, as well as the development of new optical materials and devices.

 4. Nanomedicine: This could cover research on the use of nanoscale technologies for medical diagnosis, therapy, and drug delivery. It could include studies on the development of targeted drug delivery systems using nanoparticles, as well as advances in imaging techniques such as nanoparticle-based contrast agents. 

5. Nanosensors and actuators: This could cover research on the development of sensors and actuators based on nanoscale materials and devices. Applications could range from environmental sensing to industrial automation and robotics. 

6. Nanotechnology and energy: This could cover research on the use of nanoscale materials and devices for energy conversion, storage, and distribution. It could include studies on the use of nanomaterials in solar cells and batteries, as well as the development of new materials and devices for energy harvesting and storage. 

7. Nanotechnology and environment: This could cover research on the environmental impact of nanotechnology, as well as the development of nanoscale solutions for environmental problems. It could include studies on the use of nanomaterials for water purification and air filtration, as well as the development of new materials for environmental sensing and monitoring.

 8. Nanotechnology and agriculture: This could cover research on the use of nanotechnology in agriculture for crop improvement, disease diagnosis, and pest control. It could include studies on the use of nanomaterials for nutrient delivery and soil remediation, as well as the development of new sensors for precision agriculture. 

9. Nanotechnology and cybersecurity/WSN: This could cover research on the use of nanoscale materials and devices for cybersecurity applications such as encryption, authentication, and secure communication, along with the connection between nanosensors with wireless sensor network (WSN) protocols and applications. It could include studies on the development of new nanoscale encryption techniques, as well as the use of nanoscale sensors for intrusion detection. 

10. Nanotechnology and IoT: This could cover research on the integration of nanoscale sensors and devices with the Internet of Things for applications in smart homes, healthcare, and industrial automation. It could include studies on the development of new nanoscale sensors for IoT applications, as well as advances in nanoelectronics and nanophotonics for communication and data processing
